Important Features To Consider When Buying A Smartphone

Every once in a while all of us think about buying a smartphone, two important questions come to our mind before one makes a decision

  • Which brand smart phone to buy
  • How much money to spend on it

To help you decide better we have put together a group parameters that will help you ease the burden of making a decision, first lets start with the basics

smartphone

The OS

Ideally for a smartphone there can be 3 popular choices for an operating system, they are

  • Android

  • iOS(Apple)

  • Windows

Each one of these operating system has a unique feature of their own, Android became popular because of its ease of use and ample of apps, while windows provides excellent performance, while ios provides both.

RAM

The ram should ideally be more than 1 GB, which enables you to play high-end games and run good number of background applications. This will also mean that you can do more than 1 task at a time. The response time of the smartphone will be very less.

Processor

The processor is the most important aspect of your smart phone, together with the right amount of ram your smartphone can be powerful enough to do any given task within a short period of time. Ideally you would want your phone to have more than 1 GB of  processing capacity this will ensure you can run any high end application. with modern advancement there is more improved version like Dual-core and Quad-core.

Display

This must be as large as possible, it would be good if it’s in HD, but going for AMOLED  based mobile is also not bad, each brand manufacturer provides a different screen size it is completely dependent on the user, if one wants a phone bigger than his hand or if you want it to fit right into your hands. But it would be good to ensure that it will be as big  in resolution and size as possible.

Internal Memory

The internal memory of a mobile should have more than 4 GB, further this can be expanded up to 32 to 16 GB using a micro SD card. most of the time the file that is sent or recieved comes and resides in the  internal memory so the amount of memory provides is sufficient.

Camera

The camera is one more feature that is undergoing rapid changes day by day, It will be good to have a camera above 5MP in the rear, most of the smart phones today have a 8MP camera in the rear, the front camera will have about 2MP. It will be used mainly for conference calls or taking self shots.
Additional features that you might want to consider

  • Dual Sim
  • Mobile Tracker
  • 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth

These are some of the additional features that you might want to have in your phone having these features ensures that you get the complete smartphone experience. However with new technology emerging day by day it will be hard to determine which of these are becoming outdated. Any new and advanced technology would be better to enrich your phone features.
