Microsoft had built Windows 8 completely for the touch-friendly user interference which is a risk move as the previous operating systems were not built for touch interference. To overcome this risky change in Windows 8, Microsoft had included the non-touch user interference which can be accessed through traditional enchantments such as keyboard and mouse. You can use the any of the user interference which suits best for you.

You can’t find the “Start Menu” button which was found on Windows 7 and Windows xp Operating Systems. This Start Screen will give you real-time updates and notifications of the running apps on your computer. For example you will get a notification from your calendar app on your start screen if there are any events on that day. And one more example is you will get a notification of unread e-mails if you link your Microsoft Account with the app.

Microsoft had launched the Windows App Store for Windows 8 just like the “Google Play Store” for Android and iStore for iPhones. From this Windows store you can download all the software’s used for daily computing. This store contains the free apps and paid apps. The best thing is that you can try the apps before buying. 1. good article putting windows 8 right in front of my eyes through words and pictures.
keep posting sai krishna. thanks for this lovely post i was waiting for.

  2. Windows 8 is better than windows 7 because of is user interface, speed and accuracy.

  3. The features were mind blowing and I love the metro user interface. But I wonder why uTorrent is not working on Windows 8 on my PC

  4. Windows 8 looks good but takes lot of RAM to run. 64Bit takes 2GB of RAM and 32Bit takes 1GB of ram. If i had laptop that has 2GB of ram, windows 8 will make it very slow.

  5. If you torrent is not working then try froist wire downloader, works better than utorrent. I have tried it in my windows 8 works fantastic.

  6. What a review! I am already installed windows 8. Everything is working fine. But I find out some lag. When I am copying something usually it takes much time then windows 7.

  7. Hi Saikrishna,
The Windows 8 looks really good. However, upgrading to it from Windows 7 is not exactly an option, particularly since Windows 8 is especially made for touchscreen interfaces. It’s not actually the same as upgrading from XP to Win7. If I upgrade my laptop or desktop with a touchscreen interface, only then will I consider upgrading to it. Nevertheless, the metro interface simply makes me want to upgrade both my laptop and OS as soon as possible.

  8. Interesting content is provided here. In Addtion to this, I was looking for some Getting Started Guides, Windows 8 Cheat Sheet: Touch and Mouse Gestures, Windows 8 Cheat Sheet: Keyboard Shortcuts, A guide to help you make an informed decision and determine the best way to use Windows 8 personally or professionally, and Windows 8 Consumer Preview First Look and I have compiled it into one article. It may be useful.

Download Six Ebooks on Windows 8 -> http://clean-clouds.com/2013/01/22/download-six-free-ebooks-on-windows-8/

  9. There are quite a few advanced features in it. But I’m not a big fan of the new start screen. I’m someone who works with computers everyday so can figure out how to make it work. But it isn’t the same for users who are not that tech savvy. There are quite a few who downgraded to Windows 7 because of this alone.

  10. still i would consider windows pro instead of windows 8 find out why

  11. task scheduler looks good to me. I now feel excited to migrate to 8.
